In Dushanbe was held a conference on “Renewable Energy in Central Asia: Creating Economic Sustainability to solve social and economical problems”

11-12 of November, 2009 the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace (Washington, USA), OJSC “Systemavtomatika” (Dushanbe, Tajikistan) and the Renewable Energy Association of Tajikistan (Dushanbe, Tajikistan), with the support of the Institute of Central Asia Regional Cooperation of Asian Development Bank, the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Ministry of Energy and Industry of the Republic of Tajikistan held an international conference on “Renewable Energy in Central Asia: Creating Economic Sustainability to solve social and economic problems.”

The international seminar was attended by experts on renewable energy issues, businessmen and government officials working in the field of renewable energy, as well as representatives of international missions and financial institutions from all countries of Central Asia, as well as the United States, the European Union and Afghanistan.
